She began her career by performing extensively in clubs across Canada and in 1988, Savannah Records released her debut album, "Do Right By Me," leading to its remarkable success with seven chart-topping singles and over 40,000 copies sold. This accomplishment opened doors for her in the U.S., as Arista/Nashville signed her as one of their flagship artists. Her first American album, "Michelle Wright," released in 1990, garnered immediate enthusiasm from American audiences, with the single "New Kind Of Love" becoming her first Top Thirty American hit. In 1992, her album "Now & Then" produced six singles, including the career-changing "Take It Like A Man," making her the first Canadian-born artist in modern country music to achieve a Top Ten hit in the U.S. Michelle was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in 2011.Lisa Brokop is an enduring artist with a remarkable three-decade career. Her journey began in suburban Vancouver,ultimately launching her professional career at just 15. Carolyn Dawn Johnson has 15 top 20 hits and 10 top 10 hits. She has garnered 17 CCMA awards, a Juno, and the title of Academy of Country Music's Top New Female Vocalist in 2002.
