Hadley Kennary is one of New Nashville’s secret weapons. Between projects she’s released under her own name, songs she’s written for dozens of other artists, and months spent on the road as a keys player/singer/tour manager, she has become a staple in the Nashville community over the past decade.
Zoe Sky Jordan (Instagram(opens in a new tab), Spotify(opens in a new tab))
Zoe Sky Jordan is an alternative singer-songwriter born and raised in Toronto based in Los Angeles. Her music has been featured on dozens of shows including Riverdale, Lost Girl, and Switched at Birth. 2023's "Selfish" was inspired by her mom, Amy Sky's journey in the music industry and female stereotypes. Zoe is known for writing songs about female relationships and live shows that oscillate between humour and tenderness. "Selfish" features musicians from Hand Habits, Ryan Beatty and Sufjan Steven's bands. On the merit of "Selfish" Zoe signed with Daytripper Publishing and started a podcast with UK outlet Loud Women.
Cassidy Mann (Instagram(opens in a new tab), Spotify(opens in a new tab))
As a lyricist, singer-songwriter Cassidy Mann often reshapes a small moment into a powerful and poetic song that feels both personal and relatable. “My favourite thing is to write about tiny things that make the bigger picture more important somehow,” she says. Mann’s latest EP “If It’s Not Forever” served as a catalogue of how her early relationships ended and why – and she hopes that other people feel seen and comforted by her stories.
