By reimagining the energy and elegance of the legendary Cotton Club, this event blends the timeless allure of big band jazz with a fresh, modernized twist.
This Cotton Club Revue-style production transports audiences to the golden age of jazz, infused with contemporary flair. Featuring Wendy Moten, Piper Jones, Jannelle Means, a reimagined Rat Pack (Nashville’s take on the legendary trio), and surprise performers, the evening promises electrifying performances. Hosted by Rashad Rayford, this one-night-only event will be an unforgettable celebration of music and culture.
Wil invites you: “For one night only, we’re transforming City Winery into a reimagined Cotton Club—so come dressed in your best Harlem Renaissance attire and get ready to swing and bebop our way into history!”
Empowering Emerging Artists
At the heart of Harlem Nights Nashville is a commitment to mentorship and education. Through partnerships with local universities and music programs, aspiring jazz musicians gain invaluable opportunities to learn from and perform alongside industry professionals. Students receive hands-on guidance, coaching, and industry insights from seasoned musicians and singers. Then after working closely with their mentors, they take the stage alongside seasoned musicians and singers for a live performance. This initiative not only nurtures young talent but also builds a direct pipeline from education to professional performance, ensuring a vibrant future for jazz.
