A musical career that has spanned 45 years: over 14 million albums sold;  numerous #1 hit songs; singer-songwriter; author; cancer survivor; that is just a part of who is - Cindy Alter. A 70’s pop-icon in Europe & South Africa; an 80’s African-rock crusader opening for the Bee Gee’s in Paris; a 90’s singer-songwriter in Los Angeles, California, sharing stages with Kenny Loggins, Clint Black, Olivia Newton-John, Sophie B. Hawkins, Jim Messina, and now, in  2023, an artist with a spectacular history, living in a spectacular city - Nashville, Tennesee.

Cindy followed her heart after years of dreaming it. Now she is here, writing, playing live, living and soaking up the history that is Music City.  A recent show with her band at the City Winery was a memorable night. Her audience, her fans, showed their love and respect by being there to listen to her stories and music. They sat, they stood, they moved and were moved. She is worth it. Cindy has just come out of the studio, and released 3 songs from her upcoming album, ‘Nashville’, available on all music platforms. She co-wrote ‘Egoli’ with guitar virtuoso, Trevor Rabin, which is on his new album ‘Rio’. Now, there are some upcoming shows, new solo writes, more co-writes, writer’s rounds and whatever else the future brings. She is definitely here to stay.
