Slim will be showcasing his original music as well as classic R&B jams with his long standing partners in groove, RETURN OF THE SMACK! Initially the name of a group text among the musicians, this powerhouse band became such an important (and, unusually, consistent) part of the live sound and vibe that Slim decided to make it an official moniker without really telling anyone. Hopefully they dont mind. Featuring Slim, Jordan Carter on Drums, Dennis Edwards on Bass, Eljiah "DD" Holt on keys, and Brandon Newsome on percussion (and perhaps some special guests), this promises to be an explosive, dynamic evening of instrumental prowess!
