An Evening with Multi-Instrumentalist Alyssa Jacey
City Winery Presents An Evening with Multi-Instrumentalist Alyssa Jacey live in concert on August 16th at 7:00pm.
Alyssa Jacey, who has opened for Bruno Mars, Andy Grammer, Shawn Colvin, Lisa Loeb and others, didn’t know she could sing until her early 20’s. Co-workers heard her sing to herself at work, forced her to try karaoke and that’s how she discovered her voice! AJ’s latest album “Showing Up” has a mixture of pop, blues, country, Americana, reggae and even rap. Originally from San Diego, Jacey garnered the nickname ‘The Female Ed Sheeran’ from fans across the globe from being a multi-instrumentalist and her quick-singing “rap” style in some of her songs!
Before winning 1st place at the San Diego County Fair singer/songwriter competition, rising to #1 on the Reverbnation singer/songwriter charts for nine years and counting, and being nominated ‘Best Live Performer’ at the Nashville Independent Music Awards, Jacey had notable success as both a national TV Host as well as a Super Bowl dancer.
“She’s so genuinely charismatic. A close 2nd to her captivating persona, Alyssa brings you on a musically diverse journey; you never know which genre she’s going to land on, and yet you can always find yourself relating and singing back, even if you don’t sing!” - Nashville Voyager Magazine. "She commands the stage simply by walking onto it. Her blue brand to support Alzheimer’s in memory of her Grandma makes Alyssa all the more likable!” - Doc McGhee (KISS) “Jacey’s banter between songs is epic comedic relief; Never a dull moment with Alyssa Jacey!” - 102.9 The Buzz.
#BringTheCrewandWearYourBlue to show support and help Alyssa’s cause to end Alzheimer’s!
